Travel Note
We recommend booking a rental car as the best way to see what Boulder and Colorado have to offer, though a car is not needed if you are planning on only staying in the city. Ubers/Lyfts are very easy to get in Boulder or Denver, but are not a great option if you want to go to Estes Park, for example.
Travel Note
At Denver International Airport, Rental Car Shuttles Pick up on Level 5 (the level above baggage claim), Island 4 on the East (Doors 505-513) and West (Doors 504-512) sides of the Jeppesen Terminal.
Travel Note
The bus routes AB1, AB2, and AB3 (westbound) offer the cheapest way to get to Boulder from the airport (~$10 instead of ~$100 for an Uber/Lyft). See the attached link for the bus schedule. All AB bus lines are okay to use! To get to the bus station from the main airport terminal, follow these steps (thanks ChatGPT): Exit the terminal: From the main terminal (Jeppesen Terminal), walk towards the south end and exit through the glass doors. Descend to ground level: Take the very long escalator or elevator down to the ground level and walk in the direction behind the escalator. Follow signs for ground transportation: Once outside, follow the signs for "ground transportation," "RTD bus and train," or the bus gates. Locate the bus terminal: You will find the bus terminal on the ground level, to the right after you pass the train tracks and ticketing machines. Find your bus gate: Look for the bus gate signs for your specific bus route (for example, the AB1 bus departs from Gate #8).
