Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre
Our favorite place in the whole world :) There's some fun hikes around the area and a small museum showing the history of Red Rocks. We got engaged on the Trading Post Trail. Feel free to walk around the area until the late afternoon! Usually around 4:00 PM or 5:00 PM it starts to get busy with concertgoers!
Historic Downtown Golden
Downtown Golden has plenty of restaurants, breweries, and more! A really great place to walk around!
Coors Brewery Tour
The Coors Brewery is located in Golden - right near our hotel block!
Lookout Mountain Park
Lookout Mountain has a couple nice hiking trails, but it is also just a great view if hiking isn't your thing :) It is also located in the Golden area near our hotel block!
Clear Creek Trail
A nice and easy paved walking trail in Golden along Clear Creek. We love taking Roody for walks here!
Larimer Square
A cute block in Downtown Denver! There are a couple shopping options, restaurants, ice cream shops, and a comedy club!
Meow Wolf Denver | Convergence Station
An interactive art exhibit near downtown. It's super interesting, definitely like nothing we've ever been to before!
Stoney's Bar & Grill
Stoney's is a good bar and grill in downtown Denver that accommodates large groups. This is a KU bar and would be a great option for dinner Friday night before the Welcome Party if you're looking for something casual!
