When should we arrive?

Answer

We recommend traveling Thursday as delays may occur. Guests will need to find accommodations for Thursday. Check in at The Highland Lodge begins at 3 p.m. Friday. If you are interested in staying at The Highland Lodge on Thursday, please coordinate with the venue and understand that lodging arrangements have been assigned and you may not be able to book the same cabin / room you will stay in during the weekend.

Question

Can I bring my own alcohol?

Answer

Outside alcohol is not allowed at The Highland Lodge. We will provide drinks during the welcome dinner, cocktail hour, reception, and after-party.

If I forget something, how close is the nearest store?

Answer

Hardwick, VT is about 15 minutes away from the venue. In Hardwick, there is a grocery store and a Dollar General. Morrisville, VT is about 30 minutes away from the venue. In Morrisville, there is a CVS and a few grocery stories.

Can I bring drinks or snacks?

Answer

You are welcome to bring food and non-alcoholic beverages. All cabins are equipped with fridges.

How will I know which room or cabin I am in?

Answer

We have assigned lodging arrangements and will be sharing those details closer to the date. If you have any specific requests or concerns, please let us know.

I'm bored. what can I do?

Answer

The Highland Lodge is the perfect place to unplug and relax. In the main lodge, there are reading nooks/common areas, a game room with a ping pong table and board games, and outdoor activities. For those looking to enjoy the cool weather, there are hiking trails nearby and, weather permitting, kayaks and canoes to take out on the lake.
