Matron of Honor
Catherine and Sanaa became best friends the day they met at their neighborhood park in Cambridge, 26 years ago. Their childhood was filled with fun, from jumping off the monkey bars, to playing wiffle ball in the park, to rollerblading around the city hunting down the best candy. As they grew up, the outdoor adventures turned into calling boys on the phone and taking online quizzes to get a glimpse into their future. In high school, they were the best doubles tennis partners in the greater Boston area. Even though they have lived on opposite sides of the country since college, they remained the closest of friends with the help of frequent calls and visits. They have celebrated every milestone together and look forward to navigating married life together as well.
Maid of Honor
Anya and Sanaa met at Morrison & Forester (better known as MoFo), when they both started in late 2017. They quickly realized they only had each other when it came to fielding the numerous and sometimes outrageous requests from the attorneys they supported. This bonded them for life and they will forever be team Sanya. Their careers grew in different directions, but that never stopped their friendship from growing. They regularly hang out in Sanaa's living room, sharing laughs and glasses of wine.
Bridesmaid
Caitlin and Sanaa also met at MoFo and became fast friends after bonding over their shared love of true crime podcasts, reality TV and Harry Potter. Caitlin, Sanaa and Anya often talked about their favorite serial killers and murder cases as their co-workers listened with concern. Often spending lunch together at Celia's Mexican Restaurant, they soon became an inseparable trio. Caitlin and Sanaa share a kindred spirit as type-A planners, which will come in handy during the wedding planning!
Bridesmaid
Navi and Sanaa met their first day at UCLA in their shared dorm. They not only shared a bathroom, but a desire to get out and experience college life! They studied hard, but partied harder. Navi and Sanaa loved exploring Westwood, going to football games and hanging in the sands of Santa Monica beach. After college, they still regularly get together for brunch in the Bay Area and spend time playing with her puppy, Henry.
Bridesmaid
Chi was Sanaa's roommate and first friend at UCLA. It's hard not to be close when you share a small room for two years! They bonded over tennis and finding the best food and dessert on campus (because there is always room for dessert). They went on foodie adventures all around LA, getting Korean BBQ and Sprinkles cupcakes whenever they could. Chi is still the gourmet of the group and always has the best restaurant suggestions!
Best Man
Jason is Justin's older brother. Justin has looked up to him ever since they were kids and couldn't imagine anyone else at his side on the most important day of his life. Jason is the family's resident artist, storyteller and fashionista. He will help Justin walk down the aisle in style and give one hell of a speech, but let's hope he keeps it short.
Groomsman
Blake and Justin have been friends since elementary school. Finding trouble was their favorite activity as kids, but we won't mention any specifics. They remained close as adults and have spent many weekends on Blake's boat and going on trips with the boys. Blake is a lifelong friend and Justin is happy to have him standing beside him on his wedding day.
Groomsman
Victor and Justin met in elementary school. They would spend afternoons riding around on their GoPeds and lighting off fireworks. As they grew up, they spent many late nights drinking whiskey around the poker table and watching football with the boys.
Groomsman
Kenny and Justin met in high school when they were on the badminton team together. They like to travel to exotic places and go on camping trips around California. Every once in a while, they enjoy romantic candle lit dinners to keep the spark alive.
Groomsman
Derek and Justin met in high school. They bonded over discovering new bands and artists together and spent many nights going to concerts. They also shared a love of skateboarding and playing the latest video games.
Groomsman
David and Justin also met in high school. They both enjoy spending time on the water and have gone on numerous fishing trips and wakeboarding trips. One of their trips even ended with them getting stuck in the middle of the lake with a dead engine, but they still had a good time.
Flower Girl
Gia is Justin's niece and the shining light of the Burton family. She is energetic, imaginative and swims like an Olympic champion. Don't let her adorable face fool you though because she loves all things scary! There is no doubt she will put her own fun spin on being a flower girl.
Flower Girl
Sadie is Blake's daughter and the sweetest little angel. She loves to go over to the Burton house to swim and play pretend ice cream shop with Gia. Her smile is going to light up the aisle as a flower girl!
