It was September 10th, 2017 when Justin and Sam met at a party thrown by one of their really good mutual friends. Sam had just returned from studying abroad, and her friend was kicking off her senior year with a celebration. Justin, eager to meet Sam after her time away, reached out and asked her if she was coming. Although Sam initially had other plans that night, something told her to change them—and she surprised everyone by showing up at the party after all. At the end of the night, Sam tried to give Justin her phone number. At least, that's what she thought. When she asked for his phone, she was a little too quick to put in her name and forgot to save her actual phone number. Fast forward a few days, and the only thing Justin was left with was her name in his phone. It was a small mix-up, but it sparked the beginning of something bigger. After a few more messages (and Justin finally getting her number), we couldn’t deny that there was something special between them. The rest, as they say, is history.
