Our story began in June 2018 with a first date that could double as a Philly travel guide. We started at Barcelona Wine Bar for tapas, hit BOK Bar for the sunset, popped into Village Whiskey, made a stop at The Ranstead Room for cocktails, and finished at Wishbone with late-night chicken. It was a packed evening, but it was just easy. By the new year, we were together and sharing space with Thor and Odin, and getting really good at dividing household chores. In 2020, we bought a house in South Philly, proving we could survive the most stressful milestone of early adulthood with only minor disagreements about paint colors. In 2022, we went to Scotland. Justin proposed at the top of Holyrood Park, and we celebrated by accidentally taking the bike path down—a steep, narrow, and slightly terrifying shortcut that shaved 40 minutes off our hike and nearly took out our knees. It felt on-brand. Efficiency is key. By 2022, we’d added two more cats, Heimdall and Tyr, turning our house into a four-cat operation. We’re now planning our wedding for October 25, 2025, and we hope you’ll join us for what promises to be a well-executed celebration of good decisions.
