The reception is indoors so we are weather worry free. Dress code: Upstage the Bride No, really. We mean it! Sequins, feathers, leather, latex, metallics, crazy accessories, a crazy suit, statement shoes. Make it fun! We want everyone to style within their comfort level, and also not break the bank on new duds. We ask that you be creative with what you have and what YOU are comfortable with! As one guest put it, "Can I go full Moira Rose?" Yes. Yes you may. Cocktail level dress suggested however you can absolutely go more formal if you'd like. White gloves and a gown, sure!
We decided to have the ceremony in a location that we absolutely love but it cannot accommodate a large group. For that reason we have kept the ceremony to just family and the bridal party. We do apologize to anyone who may feel left out. We will see you at the Liedertafel for celebration and debauchery. We promise we will make the night special for all of our best friends and family! We do too! We will be having a buffet-style dinner made by Pittsburgh-famous Soul Pasta! There will be meat and non-meat options. If you have a dietary concern, please text Rio as soon as you are able so we can accommodate you.
There will be an open bar at the reception, however this is not the fanciest bar you will ever see. Think more like vodka cran, titos and soda, beer, high noons, wine, etc. You'll have to forego espresso martinis for the night but we can promise you tequila shots!
Due to the reception being held in a bar and the...um...nature of our partying style, we ask for you to find a sitter for the night so you can join in the fun (and so we don't corrupt your young ones more than we already plan to).
We do not! We kindly request no gifts for our wedding. Celebrating with you is what we care about most! If you want to bring or send something, we would treasure a card with your well wishes.
The parking lot is limited to members of the club but there is usually a good amount of street parking on Liberty, S. Mathilda, and Sciota. Considering our style of partying, you'll probably just want to Uber anyway.
