We met at the New Orleans museum of art admiring Monet's Water Lillies...okay, Justin hates that I always say that. We met at Boogie's in Larose on a Wednesday night. Neither one of us was supposed to be there. We hit it off right away and spent the entire night talking and laughing. I have never felt so at ease so quickly. My favorite thing Justin said to me that night was "If I told you how many times I'd been to Disney World, you'd throw up." Little did he know...

We went on a family vacation to Disney World with Justin's side of the family. It was the Friday afternoon and we were sporting our matching "Soul" & "Mate" tees (I made him match with me nearly every day). We had breakfast at our hotel and went to the Magic Kingdom to take a picture in front of Space Mountain, my favorite ride and where I worked on my Disney College Program. Justin got the ring from his brother in law and we went to the ride. His sister Jessi got ready to "take our picture" and Justin got down on one knee. I was surprised to say the least. I wasn't expecting him to propose on that trip AT ALL. Little did I know there were more surprises. It took about 1.5 seconds after I grabbed the ring from him and asked if my mom knew about what just went down. He told me to put on the ring and turn around. Both of my parents walked out from behind Space Mountain, having watched the whole thing. Then Justin turned around to see his Dad, who wasn't on the trip with us, was there too. It was BY FAR, the most magical day of my entire life.
