What is the dress code for the wedding?

For this elegant all-black attire wedding, we kindly ask that guests dress to impress while adhering to the dress code. To help guide you, here’s a list of what cannot be worn, as well as suggestions for what may be worn: We kindly ask that guests refrain from wearing the following at the wedding: * No white clothing (this includes dresses, shirts, or accessories). * No pop of colors. * No sandals, flip-flops, sneakers, Crocs, or water shoes—only formal closed-toe shoes, dressy heels, or flats. * No jeans or shorts—ensure you're in a formal dress, skirt, or dress pants. * No tank tops or tee shirts—it’s about keeping it sophisticated, so opt for something with more structure. * No hats * No casual attire—everything should be dressy and elegant. For this elegant all-black attire wedding, the following items are allowed: * Fabrics: Black linen, silk, and sequins are all appropriate choices for your outfit. * Footwear: Both open-toe and closed-toe heels are acceptable, flats are acceptable as long as they are black. For men, closed-toed dress shoes are required. * Shirts: Men may wear long or short-sleeve button-up shirts in black. These can be made of silk, patterned, or linen, as long as the entire shirt is black. * Dresses/Skirts: Women may wear long dresses, short dresses, or skirts in all black. * Dress Shirts: A formal all-black dress shirt is suitable for both men and women. * Accessories: Gold/Silver jewelry, sunglasses, and black purses are all acceptable. Black belts, only silver, gold, and black buckles, are acceptable. As long as your attire is entirely black and elegant, you’ll be perfectly in line with the dress code.
