Santa Fe is a short train ride from Albuquerque. Fly in and out of ABQ or just visit for a day. Several trains leave both locations several times a day. Plan ahead because schedules vary depending on the travel day. The Rio Metro website has info about busses and shuttles to get you to train from the airport, and visa versa.
