"Are you ready for it?"

The two met in October of 2009, when they inadvertently wore matching outfits to Homecoming and took a picture together to prove it. A seed was planted on that Homecoming night, which would later grow into a friendship when the two worked at Safeway together the following year. As a matter of fact, Niki got a promotion and Justin took her old job! He would find any reason to go to the deli department just to talk to her. He couldn’t help but fall in love with Niki because she would hook him up with THE BEST sandwiches not charging for extra meat, cheese, bacon and avocado! It was this moment that Justin knew Niki was the one. This continued for a few more months until they both graduated and headed off into the real world.

5 years later…after being chewed up and spit out, the two reconnected thanks to a popular phone app you may have heard of…SNAPCHAT (you thought I was going to say tinder huh?). At the time Niki worked in Pleasanton and Justin in Walnut Creek, so they would meet up for happy hour while traffic died down. Justin, always a gentleman, would open every door and pay for every meal. The weeks turned into months and their budding friendship blossomed into something more. Niki could tell Justin was interested in her, yet 6 months later he still hadn’t made a move. Until one night, he invited her over to his parent’s house while they were out of town. Justin led her to the backyard where he had a romantic surprise waiting. Justin had set up wine, charcuterie, chocolate covered strawberries, a laptop to watch movies; the works. The movie had ended and Justin STILL HADN’T TRIED TO KISS HER. The night went on and they talked and talked until… SHE KISSED HIM! Since that day, there was no looking back because they knew in their hearts they were destined to be together. Nearly five years later and their relationship is flourishing as they live happily ever after... with their three dogs, Bugsy, Bonnie, and Slug.
