The day these two met they knew they found something special. Justin had pursued Mikayla through social media once before a year and a half prior, but they never linked up. The moment they did though, FIREWORKS! Everything moved so quickly and they instantly fell in love. Since then they’ve had their ups and downs, but always relied on their never ending love for one another. Now they look forward to saying their vows and celebrating their love with all their friends and family...

Shortly after their 1 yr anniversary Justin wanted to pop the question. It had been a thought in his mind throughout most of their relationship, but it was finally time! They’d already decided to start trying for a baby and Mikayla told him that she wanted his last name before she had his child. So now the only hurdle, how to do it?! On Feb 7th the couple planned a trip to Disneyland which is where they go together away from it all. That evening was a special event called Sweethearts Nite. The entire theme of the event was LOVE! Justin was so nervous he couldn’t think straight. He turned to friends for advice. When to do it? Where to do it?? He wanted it to be perfect for Mikayla. In front of the castle would be great, but its overdone AND closed down for remodeling...he needed something that was unique to them. THE HAUNTED MANSION! So in they go to Disneyland and he needs a breather to pull himself together, but finds out half the park is closed off for the special event! So he leaves Mikayla by the fountain next to the Haunted Mansion and rushes off claiming to need the restroom. Once he’s gathered himself he comes back. He tells her the fountain would be a good place for a photo of them. Now THIS should’ve been Mikayla’s first clue since Justin isn’t very fond of photos. He finds a cast member and asks for her help with his plan to propose. They pretend they’re taking a photo, but set it up for video. Now Mikayla had told Justin how she wanted a photo without her jacket before the night got too late and cold. So, she decides to take this opportunity to remove it, unknowingly leaving Justin on one knee behind her for longer than he expected. When she turned around she was overwhelmed and burst into tears of joy. Of course she said yes and this began their magical night of Disney themed engagement photos in the Happiest Place on Earth... Plot twist...Mikayla had a ring to propose to Justin if he hadn’t done it by the end of the night!!!
