Salt Lake City Airport

SLC airport is 37 miles away from downtown Park City and 28 miles from Jeremy Ranch Golf and Country Club (the wedding venue).

The airport has a relatively large rental car center. This will be the best way to get to all destinations. The area has plenty to do and see, but not everything is always easily accessible by public transport.

Where to stay

Kimball Junction - This is an area closer to the wedding venue and may be more affordable as it is a little further from the ski hill. It is more residential, but does have an outlet mall and restaurants. It is about a 10 minute drive to the ski hills and downtown Park City. Downtown Park City - Historic main street is the home to Sundance film festival. This area is very walkable with plenty of shops and restaurants and a ski lift right in town. Because of the charm and location, this will be your most expensive option. Salt Lake City - Downtown SLC is about a 25 minute drive from the wedding venue. Salt Lake is a large and sprawling city so If you choose to stay in this area we would highly suggest renting a car.

Park City Peaks Hotel

We have secured a room block for our guests at Park City Peaks hotel for $189/night. This hotel provides a free shuttle to both main street PC and the ski hills. They will hold the rooms at that price until November 15th, so please book before then. You will need to call 435-649-5000 and book under the McMaster/McKenzie room block to receive the discounted rate. We do not get charged if you don't use the rooms, so please don't feel obligated to use them if it is not a good fit.

Transport from SLC airport to Park City

Express Shuttle is the cheapest option for a single person at $45 one way. Group rates are available. Uber and Lyft are around $50 with no surcharges. Taxi's are available at the airport and are reportedly around $75.

Park City Transit System

Once in park city, all public transport is free. Many hotels will have shuttles that take you directly to the ski hills.
