We met in 9th grade advanced geometry class and both passed with an A+. Sophomore year of high school, Justin and his family moved to NC, which made us a long-distance couple for almost 2 years. Our parents were so supportive of our relationship and made sure we had the means to visit each other often. Justin graduated high school early and moved back to STL, where we were reunited and decided to attend college together at Mizzou. We share the same favorite hobbies: we both love to snowboard, attend concerts, and go on vacation together! Justin proposed to Melicia in Vietnam, where he met her grandparents and other relatives on her mom's side for the first time. They were so impressed with his chiropractor skills and his beautiful, tall Western nose. Justin's favorite Vietnamese food is bún thịt nướng, and Melicia's favorite Vietnamese food is bánh cuốn. We both share the same pride and joy: Maru, aka Snakey, Snake Face, Mr. Snakington, Prince—our banana stripe ball python that we adopted in 2022. Our favorite color is purple!
