Our Story
We met on December 31, 2023 at a NYE party. We should have crossed paths many times before, we had mutual friends, but somehow one of us always showed up when the other couldn't. That night though, we both made a last-minute decision to go, and it turned out to be exactly where we were meant to be. We met outside the building waiting to get buzzed in, and the rest was history.
Over the next year, we got to know each other better. Weekends quickly filled with long hikes, friendly roasting sessions, and movie nights where Justin was (lovingly) forced to watch horror movies-Mariah's favorite genre. The longer we dated, the more obvious it became that we were meant to be.
Justin proposed in Depoe Bay on Nov. 8 during King's Tide, where he promptly lost the champagne cork to the beloved ocean and its humpback whales. It was an easy "yes" and a moment we'll never forget.
We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter with you all.
