We're getting married!

We met during the pandemic when everyone was at home and there was nothing to do! We went on a date and met halfway between Big Rapids and Muskegon in Newaygo! We actually didn't really have dinner and instead walked around the park and on the bridge crossing the river. We moved in together in our apartment in Grand Rapids for about a year.

Justin proposed in January '22 at Frederick Meijer Gardens. We actually didn't have tickets and were just checking out the place bored on a Saturday. A very sweet attendant gave us some brochures and a few moments later another attendant gave us tickets to check out the whole place - it was very kind of them! It was snowy and cold and we bought hot chocolates to walk around outside! There were deer poking around in the snow on the trails. In the Japanese Garden there are these beautiful little bridges crossing over the ponds. We stopped at one and that's where he popped the question!
