Justin & I met at work when he interviewed me for a position I applied for. From the start I was interested in him, but he wanted to be just friends because we worked together. We soon discovered that we had a similar music taste so we would always text songs back and forth to listen to. When it came time for the company Christmas party, I kept trying to convince him to come but the answer was always "No, I never go to those". Little did I know, he was planning to come the whole time. That night is when we knew that this was more than just a friendship. Since then it's been history.

What I thought was a normal family BBQ at our house, everyone else knew otherwise. Justin wanted to go out back to play cornhole so I went to go practice (he gets very competitive). He starts telling everyone about the Sam Hunt concert we were at two nights ago and announcing that he got his license for our business that we started. Next thing I know, he is thanking everyone for being here and helping him plan this day. As he starts to walk towards me, I burst into tears because I realized what was happening. He asked, and I said YES!
