We're Getting Married

We met at Apple. My last year and Loraine’s first working for the company. Our first outing together was going to see the movie “ It ". It was scary ( pun intended ) :) fun, and exciting. Little did we know that this would be the first of many. We started in honesty, stripping off the fake facades and decided to be authentic. We built our friendship having discussions about God, our values, and what we were called to do to change the world for Christ. We would talk for hours into the early hours of the morning. Our conversations were full of life, joy, love, and imagination. We were becoming best friends. Before meeting we both spent time in prayer asking God to bring us our spouse according to His will. We gave Him our desires of the character we wanted in our future spouse according to His Word. The more we got to know each other the more we realized that God heard our prayers and gave us everything we prayed for and more we didn’t even know we needed. Throughout our love story we have learned to ride the waves. Though storms come, it’s Just Rain. The key is that our love is anchored to Christ who rules over the storm. We have learned that love is an unconditional choice rooted in trust in Jesus. " We love because He first loved us." 1 John 4:19 Each day we are growing, maturing, and learning to abide in Christ. Our love story has been filled with adventures climbing mountains , falling out of our seats laughing watching our favorite movies (anything with Adam Sandler), eating amazing food, reading the Bible together, praying together, worshipping, and serving together. Each year, especially this one we have learned to trust God in the unknown. To trust His heart when we can't see His hands. To find our identity in Him through the movie Overcomer. To pray together and for each other in the movie War Room. We know God is for us, with us and will never leave us. We are excited to start our life together restoring families for Jesus and starting a movement for God.
