We are having a welcome gathering at Columbia Yacht Club for guests who are traveling and planning on being in Chicago. For those who are already in the city and want to get some additional hang time in, please join us! Come as you are from 6:30-9pm. Please note - a full dinner will NOT be served. However, we will have passed light apps and drinks. Transportation to the Yacht Club - we STRONGLY encourage Ubers to this location. Please use caution when crossing the bike lanes at the lakefront. There is multimodal recreation going on and it's busy in both directions.
Street parking is available but can be a challenge to find. We recommend Uber/Lyft to and from the wedding venue to avoid having to find parking. For those of you who are staying nearby at a Lakeview hotel or neighborhood Airbnb/VRBO, it is a lovely neighborhood for a walk. Please arrive at 5:00-5:15pm. Ceremony will start promptly at 5:25pm.
Cocktail/semi-formal attire is preferred, but there is no formal dress code. We recommend your best dancing shoes.
We love your kids! However, our ceremony and reception will be an adult only event.
