Justin and Lauren didn't know it for the longest time, but they actually went to pre-school together at Town and Country. They then parted ways as they went to two different elementary schools, kindergarten through fifth grade. Although they were too young to remember pre-school, they then met back up as they attended middle school, and high school together, and rode the same bus to school (since they were neighbors). However, they never had classes together so they had never talked before. After graduating high school, Justin attended Trine University in Angola, almost 3 hours away from home. Fast forward to Justin’s senior year, Lauren's brother in law Kaleb decided to also attend Trine where they became close friends as he was a freshman when Justin was a senior. After Kaleb and Lauren’s sister Madison insisting Lauren give Justin a chance, she finally gave in. Never in a million years did Lauren think she would end up marrying the kid next door, who she had never talked to, who moved three hours away from home. Since the first time hanging out in January of 2023, Justin and Lauren have been inseparable. They did a long distance relationship for a year before Lauren convinced him to move back home to Shelbyville, even though he said he never would….. The past three years have been nothing short of amazing and Lauren and Justin cant wait to celebrate and party accordingly with you all on August 1, 2026!
