Bordeaux-Mérignac Airport (BOD)

Bordeaux is the closest airport to our venue. There is the option to fly into Paris (CDG or ORY), however, the venue is located about 5+ hours away via car. If you are planning to add onto your trip by flying elsewhere in Europe before the wedding, there is a smaller regional airport in Limoges, FR that is closer to the venue.

The venue is able to accommodate most guests on site. All accommodations have been blocked for guests of our wedding. To book your accommodations, please reach out to: Helena Raynaud Bakker (Director of Operations) at helena@essendieras.fr or, call the chateau directly at +33-(0)5 53 55 34 34 at your earliest convenience! If you try to book directly through the website, you'll notice that all accommodations for the week of our wedding are unavailable due to the room block. In the event that the accommodations on site fill up or do not suit your needs, check out AirBnB, VRBO, or Booking.com for vacation rentals and Bed and Breakfast options nearby.

Shuttle

Shuttle from Bordeaux to the Châteaux

We will be arranging for a coach bus to bring guests from Bordeaux to the venue on Monday, August 10th. We kindly ask that aim to be in Bordeaux by late afternoon and let us know once your flights are booked so we can coordinate the shuttle schedule.
