We met in high school, a year apart but somehow always on the same path. What started as something simple and young grew into something steady, something that stayed, even as everything else began to change. When graduation came, we reached that milestone at different times and eventually headed to different colleges, following separate paths but never letting go of each other. We learned how to show up from a distance, how to support one another through new routines, new friends, and the uncertainty of figuring out who we were becoming. Somewhere in those years, what we had stopped being just a high school relationship and became a partnership. Since then, life hasn’t exactly slowed down. We’ve built careers, found a place to call home, and started shaping a life that feels like ours. Along the way, we’ve experienced both the highs and the harder moments that come with growing up, including a season of loss that deepened our appreciation for one another and for the life we’re building together. Through all of it, the distance, the growth, and everything in between, we’ve stayed side by side. We’ve learned how to keep choosing each other, even when life feels uncertain. Along the way, we’ve made space for joy too, especially in the form of travel. Exploring new places has become one of our favorite ways to reconnect, reset, and remind ourselves how much we love sharing experiences, big and small. Now, as we step into this next chapter, we’re grateful for everything that brought us here. Not because it was always easy, but because it was ours, and it made us stronger, together.
