Ouray
Ouray is Kendra's favorite mountain town! Located 1 hour away from the wedding venue, Ouray offers beautiful views and lots of outdoor activities. Ouray Hot Springs, Box Canyon, local shopping and visiting local breweries are some of our favorite activities.
Telluride
Telluride is one of Colorado's most popular tourist destinations, and there is a reason why! Telluride is full of breathtaking scenery and outdoor activities. If you are not much of an outdoor connoisseur (like Kendra), you can enjoy the shops of downtown, the stunning views, and the free gondola up to Mountain Village.
Montrose
Montrose is a darling town full of natural beauty and cute shops. Colorado Pizza Boy, located on main street, is one of our favorite restaurants, followed by Horsefly Brewing Company and Shelter Distilling. Several golf courses are located in Montrose and offer beautiful Colorado scenery! And there is nothing like a summer time Drive-In movie at the Star Drive-In Theatre.
Durango
Kendra grew up vacationing here every summer with her family! Purgatory Mountain Resort is our favorite place to enjoy the stunning scenery, ride the Alpine Slide, ride up the ski lift, and enjoy the shops and restaurants! The Durango-Silverton train is a main attraction, going through some of the most beautiful mountains in Colorado.
Grand Mesa
Kendra grew up with the Grand Mesa in her back yard. As a family, we would go fishing and ice fishing all the time! The Grand Mesa is the largest flat-top mountain in the world, bursting with over 300 lakes and encompasses more than 500 square miles. It stands 10,000 feet above sea level with lush aspen forests and groves of pine trees. Wildlife abounds on the Mesa including moose, deer, and elk.
Delta
Kendra's home town! Check out where Kendra grew up by grabbing coffee at Dog House Espresso, taking a walk around Confluence Lake, dinner at Daveto's, and a movie at the Drive Thru!
