Justin and Kendra met in high school, and became friends. Kendra, in true nerd fashion, took twelfth grade biology early, landing herself in Justin's class. She trieeed to help him love school as much as her (she was not successful). Justin graduated and their lives went in different directions. Fast forward 3 years, 2 cities, and different relationships, they found themselves back in their home town on an official date - at the dog park, of course. The rest is history!

After dating for 8 months, Justin and Kendra decided to move in together. They knew it was right and that they had found their person. Over 8 years together, they have lived in FIVE different homes, spanning from Calgary to Edmonton. Justin supported Kendra through her never-ending education, she is currently in Grade 23.... He even packed up his life and moved to Edmonton with her. After completing his schooling, Justin started working in corporate oil and gas and is currently living his best WFH life. Together, they love to travel; the first trip they took together was to Indonesia (go big or go home, right?). In 2019, they adopted their perfect little Willow, the sweetest German Shorthaired Pointer, and their lives basically revolve around her now ;) The secret to our success so far? Even after all these years, we continue to learn more about each other, growing together. We are always laughing and never EVER go to bed without saying "I love you".

Following Kendra's not-so-subtle ring suggestion in June 2020, little did she know Justin had gone out and purchased it just 1 week later! Then he hung out with it....for a long time. A full year to be exact. In June 2021, while on a road trip through Arizona, they stopped at a hiking trail in Sedona. Kendra, per usual, was taking her time getting out of the car; re-applying sunscreen, brushing her hair, etc. When she was finally ready, she found her sweet boyfriend on one knee, asking her to spend forever with him. Of course the answer was yes!!
