Travel to San Clemente
Flying into San Diego (SAN)
San Diego International Airport is the closest and most convenient airport to San Clemente.
Option 1: Train
Take a short uber from the airport to downtown San Diego (Santa Fe Depot).
From there, board the Amtrak Pacific Surfliner northbound to San Clemente Pier.
Travel time is approximately 1–1.5 hours.
The train goes along the coast with great views!
Option 2: Drive
San Clemente is about a 1-hour drive from San Diego.
Flying into Los Angeles (LAX) → San Clemente
Option 1: Train
Take an uber to Union Station in downtown Los Angeles.
From Union Station, take the Amtrak Pacific Surfliner southbound to San Clemente Pier.
Total travel time is approximately 1.5-2 hours
Option 2: Drive
San Clemente is about a 1–1.5 hour drive from LAX, depending on traffic.
