Justin's Take on Best Cheesesteak

1. Angelo's Pizzeria (9th/Fitzwater) - A new comer to the cheesesteak scene in Philadelphia, but with its location near the Italian Market, it's hard to beat! 2. Delassandro's Steaks (600 Wendover St.) - This is a long time favorite. A little bit outside of Center City but is a can't miss! This isn't too far of a detour if you want to go in between the ceremony and reception. 3. John's Roast Pork (14 Snyder Ave) - Deep in South Philadelphia, John's cheesesteak is even better than their namesake sandwich! Katie's Hot Take: Porco's Porchetteria (22nd/Washington) - Although not a cheesesteak place, it's Katie's favorite sandwich in the city. The Spicy Porker: fresh baked in house ciabatta rolls, herbed porchetta, fennel slaw, roasted long hot pepper relish, pork cracklings

A Few Restaurant Recommendations

A Mano (22nd/Fairmount) - Delicious b.y.o. Italian restaurant offering 3- and 4-course dinner options L'Anima (17th/Carpenter) - A great b.y.o. Italian restaurant nearby where Justin and Katie each lived when they first met. Try the gnocchi! Little Fish (6th/Fitzwater) - Small menu seafood restaurant. Chef Alexander Yoon’s menu is rooted in classical techniques and flavored with Asian influences. Another b.y.o! Monk's Cafe (16th/Spruce) - known for its mussels, French fries, and assortment of beer - Monk's is a great place to grab a bite in Center City Bing Bing Dim Sum (East Passayunk) - Katie and Justin's first date was in the East Passayunk neighborhood. Bing Bing is just one of the many great restaurants in this popular neighborhood! Wm. Mulherin’s Sons (Fishtown) - In the other growing culinary area, Mulherin's is a great place for upscale brick oven pizza and delicious small plates. Other Suggestions: Vernick Food and Drink, Via Locusta, Sampan, Charley Dove
