Our story begins in the most unexpected of places: Vietnamese Sunday temple school was where two awkward middle schoolers crossed paths. We were just kids, but even back then, there was something special. Kathy always had a little crush on Justin, but to him, she was simply a good friend. For three years, we shared silly conversations, weekend classes, and childhood memories. Eventually, life took us in different directions. Kathy left Vietnamese school in 8th grade, and like many childhood friendships, ours quietly faded. Years later, fate (and a love for Vietnamese food) brought us back together. One completely random day, Kathy bumped into Justin at Pho 90 Degrees and just like that, the spark of friendship was reignited. We became inseparable best friends all over again, catching up on lost time and discovering how much we still had in common. During our first two years of college, our bond only grew stronger. Then, one chilly winter day, something changed. Justin realized that the feelings he had for Kathy were more than just friendship. (About time, right?) As it turned out, Kathy had felt the same way all along. From that moment on, our story truly began. Two years later, we adopted our first baby, a fur baby, to be exact Jay, who instantly became the boss of the house. He’s been keeping us on our toes (and off the couch) ever since. And after nearly six years of love, laughter, adventures, and way too many boba dates, Justin proposed to Kathy at the top of the Seattle Space Needle during his birthday trip and she said yes! What started as a childhood friendship blossomed into a lifetime of love. We can't wait to celebrate this next chapter with you.
