I first met Kaitlyn August 2018, when we both started at Optum. She helped me when I was on crutches. Just by talking to each other, we learned she isn’t much older than my niece, so I became “work mom”. Optum was Kaitlyn’s first adult job and I helped her along the way.

Katie and I met almost a decade ago at Station 18. I was a Volunteer Firefighter, and she joined our Fire Police! Not having many women in the department - well, we instantly clicked. From Monday night trainings and Wawa runs for hot coco before meeting to leaving the state on a road trip in the middle of the pandemic. We have always had and adventure in our back pocket. Katie has had such a positive impact on my life. She is a sunshine in human form. I am forever grateful that no matter the time or the distance, she forever will be my person. I knew Justin was the one after Katie invited me to their first camping trip to lowkey dig a hole if he did anything wrong haha. But he was a complete gentleman the whole time. I wish you all could have seen the way he looked at her then. I am so happy you decided on spending forever together. Love you both bunches.

Kaitlyn met Stella her first-year teaching at Magic Memories. She was the “Duckies” toddler teacher and instantly fell in love with Stella as did Stella with her. She then became good friends with Stella’s parents Meredith and Brian who were so happy to have such a great teacher for their little girl!
