José María Córdova International Airport (MDE) in Rionegro serves as Medellin's main international airport, just a 40-minute scenic drive to the city. Guests arriving can access transportation easily, with Uber recommended if hotels do not offer shuttles. If Uber is not available, only use white taxis from José María Córdova International Airport as they are regulated and monitored by authorities, making them safer and more reliable than the yellow taxis.
