Our Adventure Begins...

Neon lights, loud music and the beach. Enter Spring Break 2011. My girlfriends and I sat in a booth waiting for the next music act to come on, which to be honest, I can’t remember because I now only remember this night as the night I met the man who would come to change my life. Fun fact about Justin, he self-admittedly prefers blondes. When he uncharacteristically came up to the table of us 6 ladies, I realize now as the only brunette, I was likely not his first glance. Within minutes my friends shot him down. Justin realizes now that I was the only single one and gave my friends crap as I thought he was cute. Later on, my friend Travis and I were walking when some guy ran into me. Travis was about to give him a hard time when he recognized him from home, Justin. For the record, Justin didn’t leave my side the rest of the evening and asked for my number. So I would argue, in the end brunettes have more fun. Justin and I reflect now that God had planned for us to be together. Two kids from Ohio in Florida, among tens of thousands, enter each other’s life with a bang, literally, we ran right into each other. The saying is that couples who make it through everything that is supposed to tear them apart and come out stronger are meant to be together has never been more true than for us. We’ve had our ups and downs from our moment of meeting to our realization a couple years later that there was no one else in the world for us, than each other. For me, one thing is constant over the years, I’ve always prayed for Justin. Prayed for a love like the one he shows me, that I feel safe and protected in, that makes me want to be better and one that lives within God’s love. I have prayed for him to be the man I can’t wait to marry. Loyal. Strong. Godly. Passionate. Adventurous. My partner and my heart. I love him for him. No more or less than exactly who he is, my perfect match. 7 years of knowing you, 4 years of loving you and a lifetime to go. To infinity my love ❤️

I'm sure my lovely fiance has wrote about how we met much more elegantly and detailed than me, but here’s my best shot. The odd chance of our meeting through a mutual friend miles away from home to now years down the road, the miles of travel and discovery continues for us both as we head into our next adventure of getting married. But now instead of our once separate lives, we have grown together to travel through life and throughout the world with my best friend by my side. From the first night I met Jordyn, I couldn't stop thinking about her, so much that I continued to bug her for years. Looking back, the best decision I made was manning up and stepping up to the plate to make her mine. As we start the next chapter of our lives, we’ve climbed many mountains but always do them together. Whether it was climbing Mt Le Conte for one of the best views in the mountains to climbing the Cliffs of Moher, to growing closer together year after year until now. To my beautiful future wife that has always been the one person that I can always talk to about everything, always the one to break me out of my comfort zone to do something silly, be the one to argue with about something stupid and us laugh at it in the end, and be my equal in all ways like none else can. To infinity and beyond. I can't wait for our future together. Justin
