How far is the reception from the ceremony?

Answer

About 30 minutes. Take Lakewood Rd / Route 9 all the way! Take your time, no rush, we factored in travel between venues. See travel page for more instructions.

What are the colors/theme of the wedding?

Answer

The bridesmaid color is lilac, and the overall color scheme will be pastels. Our wedding has no specific theme.

Will there be alcohol or a cocktail hour?

Answer

No alcohol will be served or permitted. We will not be including a cocktail hour during our wedding.

Will we allow song requests during our reception?

Answer

Yes, we will allow song requests during our reception. Our wedding will have a mix of modern pop/dance music as well as hit songs from previous decades.

Will there be a gap between the ceremony and the reception?

Answer

Yes, there will be a small gap in between the ceremony and reception. We encourage our guests to utilize this time to account for any traffic, using the restroom, etc.

What kind of food will there be at the reception?

We will have a combination of Italian favorites including chicken parmesan, penne vodka, bread, salad, etc. and will serve cake afterwards. Gluten free options available, message Justin if you have an allergies or special food needs.

Our ceremony will start at 2:30, so kindly arrive by 2:15pm.

Our wedding reception will end at 9pm in order to ensure time to clean up the premises and ensure our guests traveling can get home before it is very late.

We will be having a traditional reformed Christian wedding ceremony that encompasses our mutual faith in Jesus Christ.

What is the dress code for the wedding?

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal attire.

Will we allow taking pictures/videos with phones or cameras during the ceremony?

Answer

Under no circumstances do we permit the use of personal cell phones during our wedding ceremony by any family or friends. We have hired a skilled wedding photographer who will take care of taking photos during our ceremony and ask that all guests respect this decision.
