FAQs

Question

Do I have to go on the cruise?

Answer

Absolutely not, while everyone is welcome to sail-abrate with us, you are also welcome to attend the wedding without sailing. Anyone not sailing will have to leave the ship by 3 pm, but that is plenty of time to hang out with us!

Question

Is there a Group Code or Booking Reference?

Answer

We tried, couldn’t find a super good deal so we booked through Carnival directly. The Carnival website does have different promotions and deals going on, so we recommend checking through their site or if you have your own travel agent that could work too!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

A final date is to be determined, but if you are planning on cruising with us both booking your cabin and sending your RSVP earlier than later is recommended.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Due to limited space on our guest list, only invited children are welcome to attend the ceremony. However, if you are planning on just joining for the cruise, kids of all ages are allowed on the ship.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We are working on securing a group booking rate at a hotel near the port in Miami for the night before the wedding. We will update the site when more information is available.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Parking at the port is available for $22/night for sailing guests. TBD for guests only visiting for the ceremony.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

TBD

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code for the ceremony is Formal - and do keep in mind you should be dressed prior to boarding the ship, so please wear something comfortable and that you don’t mind wearing for a little bit.

Question

Do I need a passport or travel documentation?

Answer

The ceremony and reception are taking place ON the Carnival Celebration, so being that you will be boarding a ship you will need some identification to get through security. If you are sailing, please ensure you have a passport and your boarding documents. If you are not sailing, you will still need government issued ID and we will have a temporary boarding pass for you as well. Everyone regardless of cruising or just dropping in will have to go through Security and/or Customs.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited space on the guest list - we ask that only invited guests attend at this time. As it gets closer to, and if we do have some space free up, and you have someone you would like to attend, please ask us before inviting anyone.
