Wedding Party

Justin Reimertz

Groom

Justin is a scientist by day, and nerd and fitness buff by night. When he isn't nestled in his apartment playing video games with his cats, Justin enjoys exploring Boston and dragging Jason along to restaurants, coffee shops, and music venues. Justin is excited to start the next stage of his life together with Jason as they continue to take care of their two daughters, Kamiko and Asami.

Jason Colville

Groom

Jason is adamant about calling himself an engineer, even if he has yet to actually use his degree after running the gauntlet of the RPI engineering program. Despite this, he typically spends his time testing cells and DNA for far too many hours, at home gaming, playing Magic the Gathering, and going out to play tennis when Justin hasn't dragged him out to social events. He is extremely excited to spend the rest of his days doing all those things with Justin and their two cats, Kamiko and Asami.

Fiona Smith

Best Man

Fiona, Justin's roommate-turned-best-friend, knows she wouldn't have survived college without him. Literally, she lost count of how many times Justin stopped her from getting hit by a car on top of all the other misadventures. And the tradition continues! She also owes her life to Jason, who missed Justin getting down on one knee (the first time) because he had to rescue her from being literally swept out to sea - anything for a cute proposal photo! In other words, she would literally die for these two, and is absolutely ecstatic that she is here to see them get married.

Jordan Hartman-Wexler

Best Person

Jordan met Jason and Justin through the trial by fire known as RPI, and became close friends through the shared horrors of engineering school. There have been many adventures together, from our road trip from NY down to Austin, TX, to Jason officiating Kenny and I's wedding, to simply chilling around a fire with the best company. Jordan could not be happier for Jason and Justin, and wish them a happy, loving, vibrant life together.

Daniel Williams

Best Man

A fellow graduate of RPI, Daniel has known Justin since 2018 and has since bonded with Justin through a mutual understanding of unfortunate collegiate workload, an appreciation for the iron dungeon known as the gym, as well as an undocumented number of memes and reels sent at questionable times relative to working hours. Daniel is honored to be a part of this momentous occasion for both Justin and Jason, and wishes both of them a prosperous and healthy future.

Kenny Hartman-Wexler

Best Man

Jason and Kenny met at the beginning of college in the only way that makes sense if you know him: Doing nerdy things, with nerds, at our nerd college. We became fast friends, and remained so despite the trials and tribulations that befell us (also known as college and early adulthood), and he remains one of my best friends. I wish only the best for him and Justin on both their wedding day and beyond.

Alex Ngan

Groomsman

A long time ago, on a campus not far enough away, Alex wandered into the RPI Playhouse. It was there that he first met Justin (arm wrestling on the carpet) and Jason (clad in a hoodie, probably playing Smash). Though Alex didn't become close friends with the couple until after graduation, their friendship (and subsequent Dinner Club Clownery) has been one of the boons of settling down in Boston. Alex still needs to make the little 'L' to determine which side is left, but he's certain that Justin and Jason are right for one another. He wishes the two of them nothing but joy as they embark on this adventure together.

Thomas Li

Groomsman

Thomas (Tealeaf to his friends) first met Jason and Justin in college, but it would not be until years later that they would forge true friendships - because apparently it takes a while to roll a Charisma check. They eventually bonded over dice, dungeons, and delightfully bad decisions, as he ruined their characters' lives with dragons, despair, and *trauma* (TM) on a weekly basis. Luckily for them though, this quest has no saving throws: just love, laughter, and cake. Thomas is honored to celebrate their Nat 20 in love and wish them a happy ever after!

Lia Brodeur

Groomsgoth

Much like J^2, Lia is a survivor of the RPI experience. Their friendship with the pair developed more after graduation, to the point where these two moved to be closer to them (unconfirmed, but Lia likes to think so). When not hanging out with their little cryptid cat Abigail, Lia enjoys roaming the city of Boston with Justin, Jason, and their friend Alex (another RPI gauntlet graduate), trying new restaurants and commiserating about late stage capitalism. While Lia's wardrobe may be greyscale, they are happy and honored to celebrate these two's love for each other regardless of color schemes.

Chris Myers

Groomsman

Deah Reimertz

Groomswoman

Deanna (goes by Deah) is Justin's middle sibling. As children, these two would butt heads often, as siblings usually do. At 3 years old, Justin very much did not want a younger sibling, as some of their books had the baby's face scratched out. But as both Justin and Deah got older, they quickly became best friends. When Justin started dating Jason, Deah immediately could tell these two made each other happy. Deah is ecstatic to be a part of this big day for this couple, and cannot wait to see them live their happily ever after.

Sean O'Keefe

Groomsman

Sean is Jason's older brother. As the eldest, he recognized early on that Jason and Matthew would always aspire to his astonishing levels of handsomeness and gaming skill. After many years of domination at the latter, Sean magnanimously passed on the title of Best Gamer to Jason out of the kindness of his heart (and definitely not because he can't figure out how to use two joysticks at once) and allowed him and Matthew to continue their duel for supremacy. He enjoys forcing Jason to take long walks on the beach, compelling Jason to travel, and coercing Jason to generally spend any time exposed to sunlight. He is thrilled to have most of these duties taken over by the wonderful and caring Justin so that he can re-focus his energies on future gaming superiority and wishes the happy couple a vibrant and nerdy life together.

Bryan Reimertz

Groomsman

Bryan is Justin’s younger brother. He’s very thrilled to be in the bachelor party and can’t wait to sip on some truly exquisite mocktails. Most of all, Bryan’s so happy he gets to celebrate his older brother, thinking simultaneously about all the great moments watching their favorite tv shows and playing their favorite video games together. Overall, Bryan could not be more grateful to be celebrating Justin and Jason’s wedding and he wishes all the best in their future. He knows they are both off to fantastic things. May your heart be your guiding key!

Matthew Colville

Groomsman

Matt is Jason’s youngest brother. He’s thrilled to be included in their special day. At first Matt and his brothers didn’t get along well but they got over it after playing video games and watching anime together. Although they never took it easy on Matt when playing video games as the youngest. However as the funniest in the family, Matt most enjoys making hilarious jokes that Jason cringes at. He wishes them both a happy future together.
