In Justin's words "He was looking for a black queen"; coincidentally we met at our workplace in Baltimore, Maryland on Halloween 2015 where Jasmin was in costume as Cleopatra and Justin was dressed up as Easy E. Although we worked in the same department, we didn't have our first interaction until Justin messaged Jasmin stating "Hey, can I get a picture with you Ms. Cleo? Lol." It was his humor, upbeat personality, and consistency over time that caught Jasmin's attention. We started dating a few months later in February and shortly became a couple in August 2016. We began travelling together and creating memories often. We realized that we both shared a strong bond and interest in relocating to the south and kept that vision until it eventually came true that following year in October 2017 when we moved to Tampa, FL. It was all apart of our JOURNEY!!!

Justin and Jasmin had been discussing their thoughts and views on marriage prior to the actual proposal, believing that this would happen in the near future. We later heard the news that we were blessed with a little bundle of joy on the way "Baby Journee." At this point, this was further confirmation to proceed and provide a family household for our (2) daughters. In a private setting one afternoon at our home, Justin and I were casually speaking on our plans for the future again when he surprised me with my engagement ring while holding our baby Journee in his arms. We later took a trip to Old San Juan, PR to celebrate Jasmin's Birthday and that's when Justin formally proposed to her on August 6th, 2018 in such a beautiful setting overlooking the historic district of Puerto Rico. Jasmin responded "YES!!"
