Without Instagram, none of us would be here today. Jamie and I have no idea how we came across each other's profiles but we crossed paths nonetheless. We were posting similar things and we just started liking each other's photos, her being cute was just a bonus. We started talking and after a few weeks we decided to meet in person. After hanging out for only a short time, I told her that I was going to marry her one day. It's funny but at the time both of us knew I was being serious. Six and a half years later and it still feels as new and exciting as it did when we first met. Thanks and enjoy the show!
Through our conversations I learned that Jamie had never actually watched a sunrise before, which was odd to me cause I've seen countless sunrises from when I used to surf. So I thought for our first date we could watch the sunrise together. It was a cold morning but the sunrise was beautiful. We just spent the day together just talking and walking around Old St. Augustine. Fast forward a couple years. It was our anniversary so I chose to replicate that first date feel and went to the same spot where we saw our first sunrise together on the St. Johns Bridge near where her parents live. Little did she know that I was going to propose to her that morning. Obviously she said yes or nobody would be reading this. And that's our proposal story, so romantic right?
