We’re so excited to celebrate with the people who mean the most to us. To keep our guest list balanced and our venue cozy, we’re only able to accommodate plus‑ones for guests whose invitations specifically include one. If your invitation lists your name only, we kindly ask that you attend solo—and we promise you’ll still have an amazing time.
The dress code is Cocktail Attire. Cocktail attire is that magical middle ground where you look fancy enough to sip something in a stemmed glass, but not so fancy that someone mistakes you for the royal family. Think “I clean up nicely” rather than “I’m here to negotiate a merger”. If your outfit says I might dance, but I won’t split a seam, you nailed it.
The ceremony will start at 5pm. Please arrive 20 minutes early to get seated.
Chrisman Manor is about 30 miles west of Kansas City and just north of Lawrence, KS. We have included lodging recommendions and factored that into some of our things to do recommentations.
Lawrence is about 15-20 minutes from the wedding location. If you want to experience more of Kansas City on your trip, there are plenty of options on the west side of town.
