Fort Bragg

Fort Bragg is where we're setting up some hotel room blocks and will provide a shuttle to/from. Some recommendations from the owner of our venue: There are some great shops and cafes in historic downtown Fort Bragg! Mostly located on Laurel, Main, Redwood and Franklin Streets. - The Headlands Coffeehouse - Cucina Verona - Cafe 1 - Piaci Pub and Pizzeria - Princess Seafood - Sea Pal - Cafe Jaayy Plenty of activities in the area too! - Fort Bragg Cyclery (bike rentals and tours)

Lost Coast

Check out the gorgeous "Lost Coast" of northern California! There's lots of hiking, redwoods, and awesome views if you're just driving around!

Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens

A beautiful place to walk around and enjoy the headlands! Fun fact, the designer of these gardens also did the landscaping at Switzer Farm (our venue).

Ricochet Ridge Ranch

Go horseback riding in the area! Some options are in the hills or on the beach :)

The options are endless, but here are a few to get you started! - Seaside Beach - Blue's Beach - Westport Headlands Beach - McKarricher Beach - Jug Handle State Recreation Area - Babcock Beach at Hare Creek - Russian Gulch State Park - Noyo Headlands Park - Van Damme State Park

This beach is covered with mid-20th century glass in all colors!

Point Cabrillo Lighthouse

Point Reyes National Seashore

A great place to stop on your drive up to Fort Bragg/Westport! Hiking, views, cool trees, an abandoned ship, etc. Worth the stop!

Local Wineries

There are a ton of options in the area! This part of California is known for its wine. There are a few options close to Mendocino/Fort Bragg, but if you want to venture more out of your way Sonoma and Napa would be a fun day trip, or swing through on your drive up!
