Sapporo
Sapporo Grill and Sushi is one of our favorite places to eat. We had our first date here, and have frequented Sapporo a little more often than we would like to admit. If you're looking for some sushi or maybe a good hibachi meal, check out Sapporo! Their happy hour menu is available 5 PM - 6:30 PM in the evenings, and is very good.
Hilltop Tavern
Hilltop Tavern is a great place if you want to get good food, drinks, and entertaintainment. Their food is excellent and well priced, a decent selection of beer, and they also have giant Jenga, Connect 4, foosball, and many other games to choose from!
Stoney River Steakhouse and Grill
If you are looking for a good steakhouse, Stoney River is a great reccomendation. Justin and I have had a few fancy dates here to celebrate the end of college semesters, birthdays, and anniversaries. We also got engaged at the Summit, where Stoney River is located! So it is a very special place for us. It is a bit of a drive, but we think it is worth it.
Royals Hot Chicken
WE LOVE THIS PLACE. If you are looking for some Kentucky fried chicken, please consider Royals! Much better option than KFC, has great drink options as well as a bourbon slushie (because what is more quintessential KY than some bourbon and fried chicken?) Great location on Market street in Louisville.
Feast BBQ
A good place for some barbecue! This place is owned by the same individuals who own Royals, so bourbon slushies are also on the menu at Feast.
Stout Burgers & Beers
Arguably the best burgers in town. Emma does not eat burgers, but they are one of Justin's favorite foods, so Stout is a great place for us to visit because they have great veggie burger options! They also have an excellent happy hour from 5 PM - 6 PM Monday - Friday which offers half price burgers - so it is economical too.
