We are so disappointed to tell you that we have decided to cancel our rescheduled wedding. In light of everything happening, we don't want to risk everyone's safety. We would have loved to celebrate with you! Thank you so much for your patience and understanding!
Emily's version: We first met while I was working at Chick-fil-A, and Justin was working at the Sprint store in the same parking lot. He often frequented CFA on his lunch break, and we started chatting, soon finding out that we went to the same church. That led to talking on Instagram, then texting and phone calls, and then on February 11, 2018, he asked me to go to lunch after church. I actually didn't know that was our first date, until on our second date a week later I asked him to clarify if we were dating. Thankfully he said yes, and the rest is history! Justin's version: I used to work at a Sprint store at Rayzor Ranch that was within walking distance from a Chick-fil-A. I would go there almost every shift for 1 or maybe 2 meals... I truly believe that Chick-fil-A has one of the best customer services and I like to acknowledge that. Every time I would go in to pick up my mobile order, I would tell the person handing me my food two things. "Thank you! You are wonderful!" with sincerity. One day I walked in and was met with hands out stretched with food in one and a coke in the other. Her name was Emily. She handed me my food and I replied as I usually do "Thank you! You are wonderful!" I received a "death stare" in return. I walked back to Sprint playing it over and over again in my head. Did I misspeak? Did I say something different than I thought? Could that be taken negatively? It 100% caught my attention. A few days later we were able to talk more through a mutual friend and found out we both went to the Village. I was serving on the Production Team at the time and told her she should stop by the booth next time. A few Sundays later I asked her to go get tacos with me after the service had ended. That day in Chick-fil-A I received one of the best "death stares" I have ever encountered. It also wasn't the last.
