Peter Thorne

Peter and Danny were roommates throughout all of medical school. Peter posted a "Looking For Roommate" message on Facebook and Danny, seeing a University of Minnesota sweatshirt, said YES! They went to Blue Door Pub in St. Paul, MN for beers, burgers and cheese curds. The rest was history. Danny had the honor of being Peter's best man this past year, and Danny is thrilled to have Peter by his side at his own wedding. Peter is now living in Nashville, TN finishing up his fellowship in nephrology this year.
Stephanie Kwiecinski
BEST WOMAN
Stephanie is the sister Justin never had, one of his closest cousins, and best friend; a mere 5-months separates them in age, so there was a little mischief here and there and countless adventures between them growing up. She works as a preschool teacher in Milwaukee, WI and has a love for all things parties, glitter, and glam! Don’t let the lashes fool you, as this girl can be seen enjoying nature with hikes, paddle boarding, and ATVing. She is the mother to the adorable 2 year-old Millie, 1 year-old August, and dog mom to both Wednesday and Sharon! It’s safe to say that Stephanie knows Justin better than anyone, and Justin couldn’t imagine someone else stepping in as his Best Woman!
Sarah Stacy

Sarah and Danny were roommates in college. Sarah was a member of the University of Kentucky Color Guard, and she knows how to throw a rifle 3 stories high AND catch it. Since college Sarah and Danny have followed each other all over the county on vacation - from Florida, to Tennessee to Maine. Now Sarah lives in Nashville, TN with her husband and newborn son where she now works as a nurse practitioner with the Vanderbilt's Trauma Surgery Department. When you see her at the party make sure to ask her what it was like to raise a flock of sheep.
Nathan Koss
GROOMSMAN
Nathan is Justin’s younger brother and currently in his fourth-year at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee pursuing a biology degree. When he isn’t hitting the books, he enjoys fishing, golfing, working out, and playing video games. He is caring, loyal, and always willing to step in and help out. Justin couldn’t be happier having him stand up on his side as a groomsman.
Nicholas Munaretto
GROOMSMAN
Nick and Danny were roommates in medical school. During those years living together, Nick and Danny were frequent flyers to all ice cream shops in a 15 mile radius from Wauwatosa, WI, often coming in for ice cream 5 minutes before closing time. Nick is currently living in Rochester, MN pursuing an orthopedic surgery residency at Mayo Clinic. Although Rochester, MN doesn't boast as many Michelin 3-start restaurants as his hometown Chicago, it does provide Nick with his other true love: fishing.
Jane Starr

Justin met Jane through working as nurses on 7West at Boston Children's Hospital. Jane is a fun-loving, intelligent, and stellar individual. She is an absolute favorite amongst her patients and families. Amid the amazing coworkers Justin has, Jane has easily become one of his closest friends. You can find Jane relaxing at the beach, walking her cute pup, Gemini, or traveling to some pretty neat places. Jane is one of the kindest people you will ever meet and known for her infectious laugh. Fun fact: shout out to Jane’s grandfather, Michael Collins, for taking Neil and Buzz to the moon!
Emily Murphy
GROOMSMAID
Emily was one of Danny's co-residents in Boston. She has since graduated and moved to Washington D.C. where she is a medicine and pediatrics hospitalist at Johns Hopkins University. Danny and Emily shared a sincere passion for charcuterie during residency, especially the type that was unfinished and heading for the trash at a restaurant. In addition, Emily's family forever remember Justin and Danny as "the friends who brought charcuterie supplies in a cooler." When you see Emily at the wedding, make sure to ask her about whether the condiment featured in her photo is mayonnaise or "Guatemalan White Sauce."
Chris Bellinger

Justin met Chris through working as a nurse on 7West. He was the sole male nurse on 7W before Justin started at Boston Children's Hospital. Chris is a kind, sincere, and caring guy! He has a knack for a good joke and an ability to find the funny side of a situation. He is also dad to the adorable 2 year-old Amelie. When you meet Chris, ask him why he always wears jeans, even in 100 degree heat (!?!?) or how he started the unit-based Movie Club! Movie Club is a group of friends who meet weekly to grab dinner and drinks before seeing a movie; whether rated 10% or 100% on Rotten Tomatoes, no movie is cut from the list!
Cooper Rapp
GROOMSMAN
Cooper and Danny became friends in medical school. As fellow Minnesotans, they shared many road trips and mixtapes along I-95 as they went home for the holidays. Cooper now lives in Gainesville, FL BRAIN-BLASTING cancer away as a radiation oncology resident. Fun fact: because Cooper knew how to color inside the lines at a young age, he was able to skip 2nd grade and celebrate his 21st birthday in medical school. Danny took it upon himself to help plan that party. When you see him at the party, make sure to ask him what his go-to, 21st birthday karaoke jam with Danny was.
Rachel Bielewicz

Set the scene to 2012; both second degree seekers, Justin and Rachel met in nursing school and quickly bonded over the adjustment back to the academic role, craft beers, and young-adult fiction turned major motion picture (The Fault In Our Stars, anyone??). She has remained a true friend and is always a phone call away. When you meet Rachel, ask her for a good money-saving tip, a craft beer recommendation, or her long-lasting love of Salem, MA attractions and the Witch Museum! #LetsGetWitchy
Amanda Bryson
OFFICIANT
Amanda was one of Danny's co-resident in Boston. Now Amanda is an adolescent medicine fellow at Boston Children's Hospital. Oddly enough Danny and Amanda's friendship started on the residency interview trail when Danny, a complete stranger at the time, approached Amanda outside the hotel, asked her if she was going to the applicant dinner, and asked to share her Uber. Little did Amanda know that when she allowed Danny into the car, she would be stuck officiating his wedding years later. When you see Amanda at the wedding, make sure to ask her what percentage of personality she and Danny share.
