We’re Getting Married!!!!!

We were both down in NOLA at the same time with mutual friends, never met in person, but have know about each other for years through our mutual friends. We chatted while we were down there and made plans to keep talking after we went back home. Cortland booked a flight a couple months later to come visit me in Chicago from NY, of course I had to pull out all of the stops for him! That visit went great because I book a flight a couple weeks later to go visit him out in NY and cut to it, we started dating and visiting each other basically every two weeks and our love grew from there. After a year of long distance dating, we chatted and decided that I would move to NY, so after some test runs and making sure we were both good to go, I packed up and we U-Haul’d me out to the big apple! Days, weeks and months had gone by and things were even more amazing being in the same space together that I PUT A RING ON IT 5/20/2025. Cut to almost a year living together in NY and we sat out on our patio and said, we should buy a house! So we started that process in July of 2025 and in September we closed on our first home together in Texas! Knowing when you found your person, everything else just falls into place and we just went with it. I couldn’t be more excited to marry this man, he is my EVERYTHING and looking forward to what the future has in store for us!
