Phew, could it really be a decade ago we met?! Corissa's very first memory of Justin was helping students move into the dorms. They both volunteered to come to campus a week early to help coordinate the hectic move-in day for freshman. Little did she know the man she would end up marrying lived across the hall from her. As she passed him in the hallway she noticed his volunteer shirt and thought it appropriate to say hi to a fellow volunteer and 'neighbor'. Justin being shy, said hi back and quickly scampered down the hall ;D. Corissa developed a crush on Justin and was intrigued by his mysterious nature (which was really him just being shy...). Over the next year they got to know each other hanging out with dorm roommates.

Justin was in his second year of pharmacy school and living in Seattle, Corissa moved to Wenatchee after graduating from UW with her Masters in Health Administration to work at a local healthcare organization. They had been talking about getting married for a year or two and Corissa kept researching ways to find a ring that fit Justin's budget and eye for bling ;). After researching a second-hand jewelry website (let's hear it for being sustainable) Justin found the perfect ring. He tried to be *sneaky* and pretend that someone else bought it before he could get then chance, but Corissa was onto him (they had been together for 6.5 years at this point, she knew all his tells). During winter break from school, Justin visited Wenatchee and planned a beautiful snowshoeing trip. It was the first time either of them had been snowshoeing and they were excited to be in the snow! Justin was super nervous, and so was Corissa because she had a feeling she knew what was going to happen... Once they reached the top Justin got down on one knee and proposed! Of course she said "Ok" and they both blacked-out from nerves and don't fully remember the details. At least Justin thought ahead and recorded the entire thing on his go-pro. It was super romantic and perfect.
