Back in early 2020, we were in our rigorous j-term class, titled "Are fat cats really fat?" intense I know! We got partnered for a group project, and Justin being the chatty guy he is, said all of 3 words back to ALL my questions. Turns out he was nervous, I thought he hated me. Fast forward to August of 2020, and we started snapchatting one night. I was at a party about an hour away with my best friends Elaina & Madi and KNEW I had to hangout with him ASAP to keep him talking. At that moment we decided, we'll get an uber, BUT we can't afford it, so we did what all sane college kids do, we called Elaina's mom crying saying we felt unsafe and she HAD to get us an uber back to Franklin. We were completely safe, and at Madi's boyfriends house, but that's not the point. We got back to Franklin and I rushed to redo my makeup and meet up with Justin. We hung out all night and he walked me back to my dorm to watch a movie. We stayed up chatting from 11 pm till 4 am when I apparently talked myself to sleep and Justin headed back to his dorm. From that day on, that was it. Everyday, texting, laughing, awkwardly waving in class, until Justin asked me to be his girlfriend on September 29th, 2020. The rest is history, through all of college we were each others one constant, from football & soccer games, to finance classes Justin had to pull me through to marketing classes where I had to remind Justin to get creative, to “soccer house” parties & chill nights in with our best friends, who are standing by our sides on this day, we have truly grown up together with the BEST people around us. As we graduated and moved into adulthood together, we have spent many weekends driving to South Bend to cheer on the Irish now that we have the time, we hike as often as we can, and we dove deep into our newly shared faith. Above all we have continued to lean on one another through it all. We are beyond excited to take this next step together with all of you there to celebrate with us!
