Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that guests arrive to the ceremony by 3:45 PM to allow enough time to get settled. Please anticipate the need for street parking and a short walk.

Question

Will there be food and/or drinks provided at the Kickoff Cocktails?

Answer

Yes! We will be providing chips and dip with quesadillas. Additionally, guests will be given at least one drink ticket on the bride and groom. Can't wait to celebrate with you!

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We have been dreaming of this moment, and we can’t wait to share it with all of you. This will be an unplugged ceremony, so to help us truly be present together, we kindly ask that you silence your devices (phones, tablets, pagers, etc.) and refrain from taking any photos or videos during the ceremony. We promise our amazing photographers and videographer will be capturing every special moment for us all to look back on!

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be indoors. You're welcome.

Question

Is there a dress code for the ceremony/reception?

Answer

Yes. Our wedding style blends garden party charm with modern elegance. Think elevated summer attire—suits, cocktail dresses, and formal jumpsuits. We encourage light, airy fabrics and cheerful seasonal colors to complement the summer setting.

Question

Is there a dress code for the rehearsal dinner?

Answer

Yes. We invite guests to embrace an elevated summer casual look. Gentlemen are encouraged to wear polos or button-down shirts with pants, while ladies may choose summer dresses or elegant blouses paired with pants/skirts. Think polished, comfortable, and festive.

Question

Is parking available for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Ceremony: Parking is free but limited at Lifegate Church Midtown, so please anticipate the potential need for street parking to ensure you arrive on time (please arrive by 3:45 PM). Reception: Street and garage parking are available in the Midtown Crossing area. Parking validation for the garage is no longer offered, but please bring your ticket to the reception in case we are able to secure a deal. This link fully explains all parking options in the area: https://midtowncrossing.com/about/parking/. Hotel: For guests staying at the Element Hotel, on-site parking is available for $15/day.

Question

Will there be an open bar at the reception?

Answer

Yes! We’re excited to treat our guests to an open bar during the reception. Our bartenders will appreciate tips via cash. Please enjoy responsibly—if you drink, don't drive (do the Watermelon Crawl)—and plan for a safe walk to the hotel next door.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! We’ve listed a few recommended hotels (including a room block at the hotel next door) under the Travel section of our website above.

Question

Is transportation provided to and from the hotels, ceremony, or airport?

Answer

Unfortunately, we are unable to provide transportation accommodations for our guests.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are registered with Amazon. You can access via the link at the top of our website. We can't thank you enough for your love and support! Should you desire to provide a monetary gift, you can bring that with you to the wedding.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

All RSVPs were due by May 1, 2026. We thank you for your timely reply to help us finalize our plans.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

To allow us to celebrate with our closest family and friends, we are unable to accommodate plus-ones unless they are named on your invitation. We appreciate your understanding.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we would love to have more of your loved ones at our wedding, due to venue restrictions, we cannot accommodate children unless specifically written on your invitation. If this causes difficulty with your attendance at our wedding, please reach out to us!

Question

I have a food allergy. Can I make a special request?

Answer

Food allergies and dietary restrictions have been accounted for on your RSVP. Special plates will be provided at the reception.
