Travel & Hotel
Most guests traveling from the U.S. will depart from NYC and connect through a major European hub
There are no direct flights from the U.S. to Florence
Common connections: Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG), Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (AMS), Zurich Airport (ZRH), or Leonardo da Vinci–Fiumicino Airport (FCO)
You can connect onward into Florence Airport (FLR), though it is a small airport
For the easiest travel, we recommend flying into Rome or Milan and taking a high-speed train to Florence
Trains from Rome or Milan via Trenitalia or Italo take ~1.5 hours and are simple and frequent
Plan to arrive at least one day early to settle in and enjoy the city of Florence or views of Tuscany
