FAQs

Question

What To Wear?

Answer

For Women: Think formal evening wear. Floor-length gowns are the most traditional choice, but a sophisticated, dressy formal-length cocktail dress is also acceptable. Choose elevated fabrics silk, satin, chiffon, crepe, and pair with evening heels, elegant jewelry, and a polished clutch. Colors are very welcome :) For Men: A tuxedo is welcomed and always appropriate, but not required. A dark suit (black, navy, or charcoal) with a crisp dress shirt and tie is perfectly acceptable. If you prefer to go more formal, a black bow tie and polished dress shoes elevate the look easily. Think clean, classic, and evening-ready. In short: Dress to impress, lean on the formal side, and wear something that makes you feel amazing - it's an elevated evening of celebration!

Question

Where to Park?

Answer

Please note that there is no parking available at the venue. All guests will need to park at Lake Geneva Middle School, where complimentary shuttles will run continuously to and from the wedding. Shuttles will begin an hour before the ceremony and run throughout the evening, ensuring everyone arrives and returns comfortably and safely. We kindly ask all guests to plan accordingly and utilize the designated parking location.

Question

When to arrive?

Answer

To ensure everyone arrives comfortably and on time, please note that the final shuttle to the venue will depart 30 minutes prior to the ceremony start time. We encourage all guests to arrive at the shuttle pickup with plenty of time to board, settle in, and enjoy the ride to the celebration. Once the last shuttle departs, there will be no additional transportation to the ceremony.

Question

Are Children Invited?

Answer

We love your little ones, but to allow all guests—including parents—a night to relax and celebrate, we’ve chosen to make our wedding an adults-only event. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to share this special evening with you!

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony to post on social media?

Answer

We kindly ask that all guests join us in being fully present during our ceremony by keeping phones, cameras, and devices tucked away. We’re embracing an unplugged ceremony to create an intimate, distraction-free moment as we exchange our vows. Our photographers will capture everything beautifully—so relax, enjoy, and celebrate with us in the moment.

Question

Can we arrive by boat?

Answer

Yes! For guests wanting to arrive via the lake, we will have a designated boat shuttle available for both drop-off and pick-up. If you would like to arrive or depart by boat, please coordinate with the groom prior to the wedding day so we can schedule your pickup and ensure everything runs smoothly. It’s a beautiful way to arrive, and we’re excited to offer this option for our lake-loving guests!
