We met at a mutual friends party. Justin was there and Anila was living in Oxnard, California at the time. Anila was being passed around her friends via FaceTime and ended up with Justin. We haven't stopped talking since. We met for the first time in person on December 22, 2019. We did long distance until Anila visited Spokane in March of 2020 and the world shut down due to COVID leading to her move.

Justin asked me to be his girlfriend on our first date. After getting to know each other and talking non stop since we were introduced, we finally met in person on December 22, 2019 when Anila was in town visiting her family for Christmas. For our first date, we drove around looking at Christmas lights before Justin asked me to be his girlfriend.

On a trip to California, Justin proposed to Anila at the beach where they spent their first Valentine's Day together.
