"The best relationships start off as a friendship first." Justin and Amy met their freshman year of college through mutual friends and remained good friends until one night the spring of their junior year. They were out with friends at a local bar in Stillwater called Murphy’s when our eyes caught each other’s and they suddenly began to see each other in a different light. Justin had a date party coming up soon after that night and he decided he wanted to see where things would go, so with the help of his sister, Kaytin, he made chocolate covered strawberries (the way to Amy's heart), laid them out to spell “Hondos?” and she said yes! Needless the say, the night was unforgettable. Fast forward to August 23rd, 2016 when Justin asked her to be his girlfriend and the rest is history!

March 23, 2018 Justin’s mom and sister came to pick Amy up for a girls day to get their nails done and have high tea at the Dallas Arboretum. Towards the end of tea, their waitress brought over an Easter egg and an envelope that had a map of the Arboretum and Justin had carefully drawn out specific directions on where Amy should meet him. She made her best attempt to follow the map and then she saw Justin standing there in a little secluded area of greenery. She walked up to him, he held her hands, got down on one knee and proposed and just like that they were engaged! They spent the next hour walking around the Arboretum taking pictures and then he later surprised her with an engagement party with their families. The. Most. Perfect. Day. After two and a half years of dating, we are elated to share our love for one another and say "I do" alongside our family and friends and are so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with all of you!
