Our love story began way back in the summer of 8th grade, chatting on AIM until all hours of the night or until our parents made us go to bed. Going into school our 9th grade year we both had a crush on each other, but both were nervous and scared to make the first move. Justin finally got up the courage to ask me to our first homecoming, in which I eagerly said YES! We spent the next year going to dances together, learning and growing. Although we would go our seperate ways, what we did do was form a life long friendship. Fast forward 5,10,15 years later and we would always find ourselves running into each other. Somehow the universe would always bring us together for milestones in each others lives, even if it was just for a second. Fast forward almost two decades, we crossed paths again, and by some random act of God would be perfect timing. After years apart, they rekindled their love realizing their shared passion for adventure, the outdoors, and most importantly true love for each other, family, and friends. The proposal... On New Years Eve, we decided to go on a hike at Allegany State Park with our pup Iris. We hiked the Osgood Trail, chatting our way up to the top. Just as we were approaching the top it started snowing. We were laughing and joking around when Justin got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. The rest is history and we are looking forward to this next chapter in our lives!
