The Wedding Website of Justin Anderson and Addison Ritter Reinert
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by July 31st, 2025.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

You should arrive promptly to the boat launch. Guests may begin boarding the boat at 3:15pm. We will depart the dock at 3:55. We would hate to leave anyone behind!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is free parking at the boat launch (Stillwater Boat and Packet parking in the upper right, dark blue section of the above photo). There is additional parking nearby, if needed, detailed in the parking map above.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is semi-formal. We want everyone to be comfortable on the boat in their chosen attire. The ceremony will begin shortly after 4pm on the top-deck (fourth floor) of the boat in open air, so please consider that when choosing your attire. Additionally, on the third floor of the boat is where the cocktail hour and the dancing will take place. Weather permitting, the captain will have the window covers off to enjoy the fall weather. We recommend ladies wear jackets and longer dresses or pants, considering we will be outside for the ceremony, weather permitting.

Question

How does a wedding work on a boat? Tell me more.

Answer

The Majestic Star has four levels for guests to enjoy while we cruise the St. Croix River: there is a first level lounge, second level dining deck, third level large bar and dance floor, and a fourth outside deck for viewing the entire St Croix River valley. Please consider that there are multiple flights of stairs and no elevator when RSVPing. The enclosed levels are comfortable and climate controlled. Below is an idea of the what to expect for a timeframe of events the day of the wedding. 3:15pm: Guests are welcome to board the boat 3:45pm: Guests move to the 4th deck for the wedding ceremony 3:55pm: Boat departs promptly to cruise the St. Croix river 4:00pm: Ceremony begins on the 4th deck 4:30pm: Social hour on the 3rd deck with a band set 5:45pm: Start moving guests to their seats for dinner on the 2nd deck 6:00pm: Dinner on the 2nd deck 6:45pm: Begin toasts as guests finish dinner 7:00pm: Boat staff clears dance floor on the 3rd deck and dancing begins 8:00pm: Boat docks, guest may leave the boat if they choose 8:00pm: Drinks and dancing continue at the dock for 2 hours of Dock Time 9:45pm: Bar Closed 9:55pm: Last song starts 10:00pm: All guests depart the boat

Question

Will there be music and dancing on the boat?

Answer

Yes, we love to dance and even more so we love live music. The Bluewater Kings band will cruise with us and play four 45 minute sets of music, beginning with a cocktail hour set. Although Justin and Addie are millennials, the set list will cater to all guests. See the below link for a sample of their sound. https://www.bluewaterkingsband.com

Question

Will I get seasick?

Answer

We don’t expect guests to feel seasick. The boat is a very large vessel and we will be cruising on the St. Croix river, which has less waves than Lake Marion or Deep Sea fishing in Alaska. Ask the Sweetmans how deep sea fishing on the Knotty Lady went in Alaska.
